Liam Neeson Returns for Taken 3

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing 20million is his price. Everyone cracks for money these days. He's a good actor but i think 3rd film is milking it now. Taken 1 was very good film and should of been a one off. Taken 2 was just rehash of it. Now 3...!

Throw grenade NOW!

As I said before, Taken 1-> Daughter . Taken 2-> Wife. Taken 3->Liam Nesson. lol.

That's the first thing I said when I saw the title, must be Liam this time getting taken then his wife and daughter gonna kick ass to rescue him.

Taken was great, and I thought Taken 2 was quite good too... but didn't think they'd keep trying to milk that one.

Will see how it pans out though I guess!

Yeah, agreed.  Though I don't think Taken 2 lived up to what Taken 1 was (Which I LOVED)...

Maybe the dog gets kidnapped or something...  There's only so much they can do here...

Yeah either that or the Wife's new husband will be taken (remember from Taken 1?) ..but I don't think he'll really care about the guy at all, I think he'd rather let him burn in hell. LOL.

Ugh, I can't stand the movie industry now days. You have one good movie, and you have to milk 5 more sequels out of it. Just like every other movie like this, the first is good, the second is alright, and the third will probably be absolutely awful. No one has any originality at all anymore.

I hope there's more Maggie Grace running (Y)

What we really need is Maggie Grace running in slow-mo.

Just a thought, they can also do like a Young Version of Liam Nesson to do the prequels before what happened in Taken 1. Can talk about him being the CIA agent who probably tracked down criminals and etc, and maybe how and his ex-wife met. I think that would be pretty cool.

Movement on Taken 3 is happening today as Deadline reports that Forest Whitaker is in talks for a leading role and that Taken 2 helmer Olivier Megaton has signed on to return for the third entry in the successful franchise.

Whitaker, who recently played the title character in Lee Daniels' The Butler, will join the returning Liam Neeson (who is said to be receiving nearly $20 million to reprise his role as Bryan Mills) with Maggie Grace expected to be back as well. Robert Mark Kamen and Luc Besson will again provide the screenplay for the third film which, as Kamen noted last year, will offer a new twist on the franchise formula.

Released in 2012, Taken 2 pulled in more than $375 million worldwide, beating the original Taken's total gross of $226 million.

Liam Neeson is returning as Bryan Mills in Taken 3 on January 9 and the first photos (via USA Today) have come online as we await the first trailer for the sequel.

In the new installment, Mills becomes the hunted prey after he's framed for the murder of someone close to him.

"I have to go on the run, I'll put it that way, from the not-so-lawful types and the lawful authorities," says Neeson. "Bryan Mills served his country faithfully, but now even they are after him. They must not like me."

Famke Janssen, Maggie Grace and Forest Whitaker co-star in the Olivier Megaton-directed thriller.

So its 24, basically.

In that case, they should totally have Kiefer Sutherland reprise his cameo role. He should like be talking on the phone and Mills will be running really fast and steals his phone. Then Jack will say " DAMNIT ". LOL.
