Buy Liberace's Ex-Vegas Home -- cheap !

If you saw the buzzed-about HBO flick, "Behind the Candelabra," about the secret affair legendary performer Liberace had with a much-younger man, you probably remember seeing a recreation of Liberace's over-the-top home in Las Vegas, adorned with ornate furniture, gold everything, and that giant hot tub.

But more than 30 years later, the place seems to have lost its luster ? and needs a little TLC. And if you're a Liberace fan with $500,000 to spare, you might just be the one to provide it.

Parts of the home have fallen into disrepair, and it doesn't look like it's been updated one iota since back when Liberace was still around, but oh, the potential. The home is a whopping 14,939 square feet and is listed for $529,900 (which means the buyer will only pay $35 a square foot if he or she pays full asking price) and includes, oddly, just two bedrooms, and while public records state that the house contains 6.5 bathrooms, the listing agent (who has not yet responded to requests for comment) states in the public listing comments that that number is actually 10. Well, Liberace, did love his baths, after all.
