V-Tech
A new report claims that Apple won?t release its second-generation iPad mini with a Retina display until next year. According to Taiwan-based news site Economic Daily News, shortages with Retina display panels have forced Apple to delay the next iPad mini?s launch. Apple was originally planning to release its second-generation iPad mini in the fourth quarter this year according to the site, but the smaller tablet is now reportedly on track for an early 2014 debut. Economic Daily News also suggests that Apple may release a non-Retina iPad mini alongside the high-resolution tablet at a lower price point. Earlier reports suggest that the second-generation iPad mini would be equipped with Retina display with a 2048 x 1536-pixel resolution, a dual-core A6X processor and an 8-megapixel rear camera. http://bgr.com/2013/07/12/ipad-mini-2-release-date-delayed-rumor/
+Warwagon MVC Posted July 12, 2013 MVC Share Posted July 12, 2013 Well I think the current Mini's are selling really well still. I think they want to wait until they can milk the **** out of those sales.

moloko
Yep well this is how apple do it, they just creep out new stuff. Samsung does it too, sometimes not even making changes. It is not just one company. Business smarts would to hold off as long as possible while the sales of this generation are doing fine. When its starts tapering off then put out a new version. Computers are updated like cars, in increments each year then every few years a major change.
