spacer
It's sad to see that he still couldn't get away from the drugs, even after (supposedly) finishing rehab a few months ago. Such a waste. He was great in Glee. (Grilled Cheesus!) I wonder how the writers are going to handle his death in the show.

+Warwagon MVC Posted July 16, 2013 MVC Share Posted July 16, 2013 A few weeks ago I got a call from a customer that just got out of a 1 month Alcoholic treatment program. Over the phone I wasn't sure but he sounded smashed. When I got to his house he was pouring himself some whiskey. Treatment FAIL!
tiagosilva29
A month is never enough for a proper rehabilitation treatment. This **** should take at least a year and even after that, the person should be constantly monitored. From what I could understand when he was in the USA, the Glee crew was always on top of him, but when he left for the land-of-bagged-milk it was smashmonkey time... Until last Saturday. Mr. Monteith was a junkie and there was nothing you or Lea Michele could do about it (Even though I could never understand why she stuck with him despite knowing that he was never going to get clean). It is a good thing this happened right now. Imagine if they got married and kids. Then it would be hell.

I watched Elementary this past season on CBS, and I thought that the way presented the concept of a "sober companion" (I never heard of such a concept before) was far-fetched and silly. Apparently, sober companions really need to be monitoring the addict round the clock. And I now realize that if anybody is in a position to depict the concept of "sober companion" accurately, it would be Hollywood.
