DaveLegg Developer Posted July 29, 2013 Developer Share Posted July 29, 2013 That's based on an estimate of daily page views which is WAY under what we actually get. I wonder what their source for the figure they're using is, as it's not something we publish. NuPagady 1 Share
NuPagady
So you must be handling at least a million page views a day? That's impressive, even if it's an underestimation. P.S. The source is Alexa.
+Mirumir Subscriber¹ Posted July 29, 2013 Subscriber¹ Share Posted July 29, 2013 I wonder what their source for the figure they're using is, as it's not something we publish. It looks like it's their in-house initiative and it has reminded me of Alexa :x The source is Alexa. Got a source? :D I've actually looked through the website and all it says it's "a tool for tracking growth of 279,920 reddits"

The only reliable stats come from actual server log files, although embedded tracking code like google analytics is probably 99% accurate.
