The reason, anything goes wrong and he gets injured, he sues the good samaritan.

Most jurisdictions offer civil immunity to good samaritans, though sometimes this is limited to medical personnel. Either way, most airports have some type of EMS available from their fire stations who could have leant him a hand pending a more serious call. EMS's get called out for fallen handicappers all the time.
