jjypk
Help! Jumi won't contact me for the 4th mission, even though I have taken more than 5 of those "mini" jobs avaliable. Have I done something wrong? The only cheats thing I have done is some kind of trainer program which allows for unlimited credits and missiles/mines but I used it since the first mission and Jumi did contact me for the 2nd and 3rd missions. btw I was able to get the game earlier than I expected... I was expecting to buy it next month

Keldyn
You are expected to reach a certain level before she makes contact with you again. Get back out there and do some more missions. (Y)
jjypk
I already did more than 10 mini missions after the last mission with Jumi and still no word... And the credits required to go up a level isn't growing either when I complete mini missions- it just stays put. Can somone confirm if that behavior is normal or not? In the meantime I'll be trying out more mini-missions to see if it helps!

Strange... Perhaps you should try a reinstall. It's possible something in the works have messed up somewhere. I DO know for a fact that you need to accumulate a certain amount of credits or levels before Juni will contact you again.
jjypk
Maybe its because I used some sort of "trainer" program which gave me 999,999,999 credits... But as I have mentioned I used the program since the first mission, and Juni did contact me for both missions 2 & 3. Maybe I should try a reinstall. Keldyn
Don't use the trainer either. :p You only spoil the game for yourself.
jjypk
Tried a reinstall but it didn't help... Going on more mini-missions didn't help either  I don't know what else to try...

It's likely the trainer has messed up your savegame. Have you tried starting fresh?
Niels
Because freelancer is a heavily scripted game any messing about with trainers and money cheats WILL lock the game from proceeding. I'm sorry but you'll need to start from zero, without cheating, it's worth it.
jjypk
The question I have now is: If my savegames did get messed up, how come I was able to progress as far as mission 3 without any problems? Guess I'll have to restart the game from the beginning :(
Keldyn
Here. I played up to mission 4 for you. Extract the save folder over the top of your old one and you are good to go. Freelancer.rar
velocity3k
the trainer messes around with the cash required to advance to the next level. If you set it for unlimited money then the game would set the required amount to advance to the next level higher but since you already have the highest amount, you can't go any higher and thus you can't advance. I hope that made some sense :p
