iPhone 5S to be Apple

Apple?s share price has been climbing steadily over the past few weeks as anticipation builds for an expected flurry of new launches. The company?s last major product release was the iPad mini last November and since then, industry watchers have cast a great deal of doubt on Apple?s ability to deliver. The drought is finally coming to an end, however, and Apple?s iPhone 5S will be unveiled during a press conference on September 10th, possible alongside the entry-level ?iPhone 5C.? The new flagship iPhone is expected to look almost exactly like the current iPhone 5 despite some big internal changes, and some have wondered if Apple?s ?S? strategy will still work this time around. According to one analyst, the iPhone 5S will be Apple?s most successful launch ever.

?The new iPhones will be massively successful,? Chowdhry said while speaking to Benzinga on Tuesday. ?This will be the most successful product launch ever in the history of Apple.? Apple?s last iPhone launch saw iPhone 5 sales top 5 million units in the handset?s first three days of availability.

While Chowdhry isn?t shy in stating how successful he thinks the iPhone 5S will be, he also isn?t shy in making clear that he thinks Apple is not doing what it needs to in order to begin its climb back to the top.

?Innovation does not exist at Apple,? Chowdhry said. ?Where is Apple TV? Where is iWatch??

Carrying forth a familiar theme among Apple bears, the analyst believes CEO Tim Cook should step down and go back to focusing on what he does best. ?He?s an operational guy,? said Chowdhry. ?I?m not saying he?s a bad guy. He should be heading up operations.?

Personally i think he couldn't be more wrong.

He clearly state the the iPhone wont look much different than the current iPhone 5 and from reading a lot of reviews of the iOS 7 it looks like people is not exactly in love with it. So with this combination how did he get to this conclusion?

"iPhone 5S looks exactly like the iphone 5 except with some big internal changes"... dont see that happening cus thats not what they do the S model is usually pretty much the same as the say 5 model with small changes then the big changes would come with the iphone 6. so if they make big internal changes to 5S the 6 model would probably be small changes or would have to be a massive improvement over the 5S so doesnt fall inline with how they currently do stuff, then again they are a bit all over the place at the moe so never know

Why not just wait after the launch to determine this? iPhone gets so much spotlight for no reason. It's just an ordinary phone these days...

Analysts will always 'project' and 'expect' whatever their portfolio benefits most from OR what they get paid to hype.

If by successful he means sold out due to faked supply constraints, yes it will be.

Regarding the IOS7 pseudo hate, in fact nothing is further from the truth, IOS7's bad rap only comes from a vocal fraction of the techno savvy audience, general consensus on the rest of the population seems to be the exact opposite (I think BGR or 9to5 had polls done about this)

The S models have always had larger internal changes than the introduction of a new number. The only exception is the 4 when the retina screen was introduced - and even then the horsepower/graphics power was seriously increased when the 4S came along.

Wait, so you're saying BGR and 9to5 which are Apple related sites are saying they their users love iOS7 more than the "average" folk?

Ya don't say? :p

Wasn't every iPhone so far Apple's 'most successful launch ever' ?

lol exactly; it's like predicting "tomorrow people are going to guy iPhones"...

Somehow I don't think it's the iPhone 5S that is going to be hyper successful but the cheaper plastic one.  It will push Apple lover with less spending money to own an iPhone.

time to sell that Apple stock just before launch to get some profit...

if anything, the latest reactions to the Apple releases was nothing but disappointment, and the new iPhone5 could be another one.

i'll probably be grilled by the Apple fans, but Apple has lost it's touch a while ago..

Faked supply constraint? Do you have any idea how hard it is to logistically release a phone in multiple countries, all at the same time? The iPhone 5 rollout was their quickest ever. 5 million units in 3 days accross 8 countries. If they had 10 million units sitting in a warehouse somewhere they would have happily have sold them as that makes an even better PR release..holding back units doesn't happen when you have the demand Apple does.

iPhone 5 is available in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK, and will be available in 22 more countries on September 28 [2 weeks later] and more than 100 countries by the end of the year

Compare this to the Nexus 4 fiasco, or Microsoft who tend to release something in the US then wait about a year before it gets released anywhere else then you might be able to understand just how good Apple are at distributing a new product. Actually the Lumia 1020 is another good example of how poor other companies are at doing this - why isn't this released globally at the same time? Nokia hasn't even officially given a date for the UK yet?

Fake in the sense of rumors pre-launch, leading to higher anticipation and rush, thus allowing them to boast marvellous magical extraordinary sales numbers on the 1st weekend. Remember the PS2 launch? Same deal
