Recommended Posts

BT has struck a deal with Virgin Media to make its new sports channels available to the cable operator's subscribers.

If you've got the XL package like myself you'll have them free, if not there is a package available to purchase.. Channels 549&550 are the HD channels, regular channels are 547&548..

My UFC dilemma has now been resolved thanks to this!! Plenty more games to watch this new season too now, woo!

(Wasnt sure where to put this, Mods feel free to relocate if in the wrong section)

I assume that's both SD and HD as part of the XL package?

I noticed ESPN was being removed from Virgin Media but I understand what was broadcast on ESPN will now pretty much be done on BT Sport. I really hope that includes the content from ESPN America as I do enjoy the college basketball around March Madness time.

Not really a big football fan otherwise so doesn't really help.

That is correct, SD & HD channels!

BT do own ESPN UK and apparently ESPN will now only be available if you have the BT Sports TV package, its gone completely off Virgin Media not too sure about Sky I imagine its the same for them..
