Neoguy17
I'm not sure if this is in the right area of the board or not. I just re-formated my computer last night. I've noticed my internet has been pretty slow since then. I remember seeing a registry tweak a month or too ago on here that speeded up the internet under XP. Does anyone remember this? I think it had something to do with how much bandwidth xp reserves for itself or something? Thanx!
DoubleJ
Here's the thread with the tweak you want. https://www.neowin.net/bboard/showthread.ph...=&threadid=4618 Also in the thread are plenty of reasons why that particular tweak doesn't really do anything. If you want a lot of good networking tweaks try http://www.speedguide.net . They've got a lot of tweaks and most of them have their own .reg file so you don't have to edit the registry yourself. Good luck.:D
