Apple once again rumored to be working on

Yes, rumors about Apple releasing its own television set are still flying around. Taiwan?s Economic Daily News claims that Apple, Foxconn and Corning are all hard at work on making a ?fully flat? television set that will supposedly come to market in 2014. The Economic Daily News? sources also say that Apple is testing out two different TV models that measure in at 55 inches and 60 inches. We?ve been down this road again and again with Apple?s long-rumored iTV, however, so this latest report could very well be the latest piece of industry chatter that doesn?t amount to anything.

I knew he no longer alive but this is probably the speech he might give for the introduction of iTV if he still alive.

$2,999 for a 60 inch OLED TV supporting the very latest stuff with hardrives... it'd cost $10,000 from samsung for a normal set so seeing as its apple i wouldnt expect anything less than $13,000 per set. Never going happen

A TV with a built in media centre!  Who'd thunk it.

I hope if they do do it, they manage to make it awesome, without hum inflation of costs.

Why are people even responding to this trash?  It's obviously the wet-dream ramblings of an apple fanboy - it holds no weight, the price is ludicrous, seriously...

You're crazy if you think people would pay $2,999 for a black & white TV.

Obviously, you didn't even take notice about the second update. This is just a concept if it ever become real in near future.

What black and white TV? it's the color for the material like you can choose when buying iPhone or iPad not the graphic color

Spose it is a dream TV and thats all it would be but seriously i'd say a 55 inch TV from apple would cost well i dunno really. There supposed to be the innovators, the top end of any product they release they also charge a premium for there products. Now then Samsung are by FAR the best TV's in the world they are priced high BUT its priced high for a reason, also the apps for there smart tv's get alot of attention and they have the most, i know ive got a 47inch LG 3D smart TV its only 1 year old but i use plex media server, its standard thing running off my computer yet samsung has a proper app on its smart TV that gives info like your browsing say netflix it looks ace. Thats the love samsung is getting, i aint got 4od or iTV player BUT ive got my computer hooked up to the TV so its a none issue for me.

Corning, there using corning prolly for some protective screen, why?? itll add a big premium for them to make 55inch glass... you dont pick up your TV and walk around the street with it 99% of time itll be on a TV stand in ya living room.  Apple will be competing with some heavy competition, samsung is the best, LG are really good to there passive 3D cinema displays are recognised as the best passive displays out at the moe, competitors have years/decades of experience i wonder if apple is that naive they can stroll into a market they no nothing about and peddle something with a logo on the back?? fair play they did it with the iphone but thats because there wasnt any real competition with smartphones, this is a comepletely different. I think itll break em if they do this!!

I don't get why you are speaking as if Jobs is still alive.

Also, if you think that a 60' oled tv will be $3k next year...you need to lay off the crack.

An OLED tv of that size will be at least double if not triple that price.

I knew it won't be that cheap, but if you really want to sell those TV as much as you can it need to be that in those range of price otherwise it just won't work.

So if you knew that price was unrealistic, why did you bring it up in the first place?

It's a channel, not a show.  But I'll let you off as I also love Trailer Swift ;)
