yeah, there are 6 different 350Z's to choose from. Atleast i think 6, it's around that number

they all have the same settings and perform just as equal.

YO guys, what kind of video card do you guys recommend for a rare gamer. I dont always play games, only when

something good, worth playing (like NFS:U) comes out. I dont want anything expensive (dont quote me the ATI 9800 for example, or the nvIDIA 5800-5950). But something in between- affordable, $120-200.

I'm curious of whats out there, I know theres tonnes of new stuff coming out everyday.

Ciao

I always thought ATI's driver support was crappy? When the RAGE 3D chipset came out a couple of years ago, ATI's driver support was amazing (the same time I had my nVIDIA TNT2, which I'm still using). Since the last 2 years, ATI completly stopped releasing any new drivers. Whereas nVIDIA still has support for my videocard. Its amazing. I wouldnt be surprised if in the next 2 years ATI stops releasing drivers for the Radeon XT cards.

In conclusion :p, what video card would you guys recommend?

ATI 9200 plays it just fine of the gf's sons machine. And that's with full graphics on and 1024x768.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting the nvidia 5600 FX (256MB). Its not bad on pricing ($256 down here in Canada), and is 'ok' on performance, but crappy thing is when Doom comes out next year, this card will be useless. aargh..decisions decisions...

If I do get this card, it should be smooth on my system right?

The Need for Speed series has always had very optimized graphics. I'm able to run Underground at 1024x768 with full detail on a Mobility Radeon 7500, and I'm experiencing no lag or skipping frames. Pretty amazing. :)

"RaWShadow," thats what I'm afraid of as well. The slowdown in gaming with a "semi-fast" (comparing it to present standards) system is a tricky situation. I dont want to end up buying the videocard and seeing mediocre speeds on my system.

Well i have a Radeon 8500 with a AthlonXP 2500+ with 512 megs of ddr 333mhz and the game runs well. the card is getting old and i know some are worth it, for now... so i am not sure what to do. but the demo is great, Future shop, where i will be buying it gets it tomorrow so i'm set for you all! haha, ok not really yet.....ohhhhh :hmmm:
