V-Tech
AT&T to bring LTE to 50 more markets by the end of 2013, Fargo citizens rejoice American LTE rollouts by themselves are nothing special now that 4G covers large parts of the country. AT&T just gave us reason to take notice, however, with promises that it will bring LTE to 50 more markets before the end of the year. The deployments cover a wide swath of the US, ranging from the northern climes of Fargo and Fairbanks to balmier locations like Amarillo and Kauai. You'll find the full list in AT&T's press release after the break, but it's safe to say that Frances McDormand would approve. http://www.engadget.com/2013/08/21/att-to-bring-lte-to-50-more-markets-by-the-end-of-2013/
Mr. Gibs
Meh AT&T still imposes a 3gb / 5gb limit. And yes I am on AT&T's network with an LTE phone.
Gary2MBz
AT&T's LTE has bars in LA but it isn't consistently as advertised. With 4-5 bars and -69dBm ~ -90dBm on my iPhone 5, I get ~10mbps - 15mbps steady at home (I have WiFi but regardless) coming down and 9 - 12 upload. At work I've had no less than 15 on both and this is in the massive Hollywood area with the building jungles with steady peaks even hitting 28mbps before. Not too bad if you ask me, but I wish they had that coverage level of Verizon's LTE and the stability with it too.
