Amazing game (even now when the graphics look a bit outdated its still fun) stealthy FPS. Kept me buzy for days. also Grim Fandango is a great adventure, amazing story. ps. leisure suit larry 7 is good too :p Edited November 25, 2003 by sputnik

locke
Just speaking from the lower end of the spectrum, having owned a p.o.s. video card, those are some of the stupidest suggestions I can imagine somebody would put into this thread. Ever tried the swamp levels on diablo 2 with a crappy video card? Try it with something on the level of a geforce 2 mmx sometime. Watch as you can count the framerate thanks to the rain in the water/mud. Try being on screen with tons of enemies and the effects of a Boss using Magic all at once. lol, wtf? diablo 2 ran fine on my 2mb(yeah you saw it right) vid card... but yeah i couldnt play any other game cuz they all required d3d and 4mb at least. ghey. my vidcard, that is. redFX
Get half-life and all the half-life mods. Still good stuff and don't need that big of a video card. I'm still playing TFC after all these years.
FearMeAll
get runaway the road adventure..it's a 2003 adventure game, you know the point and click type..and it's a good game. Kinda like the lucasart's old but great games. requires no 3dcard but looks good. It's the only adventure game in thie genre to use *gasp* 1024x768 resolution at 16 bit color. ze-newie
My card is pretty old and not very good (GeForce2 MX400 64mb) but I play a lot of new games (i.e. Halo, Call of Duty)and the quality is just fine for me... but some good older games that will probably look good even on an olllllld card are... Return to Castle Wolfenstein No One Lives Forever 1/2 Max Payne Half Life (TF2, CS, all those too) Diablo 2 :D

Gary_Player
If you want some true classic gaming action go for: X-COM UFO Defense...best game of all time Tie Fighter...if you have a joystick...its annoying with a mouse You could do a little emulation n play some classic console games Grim Fandango is pretty awesome On my old tnt2 m64 (which your card should beat) I could play theif, giants, american mcgee's alice, UT, and all kindsa good stuff (better than most of the crap they put out these days) just not with all the settings maxed out. Best part is you can buy all those for like $10 now :D
