share download link with others

So I have my own FTP server to access my files when I am away. Sometimes I need to share a few select files with individuals far away. I know I can upload them to a service like drop box or email the small stuff but I don't want either of those options. I want

 

1) my personal computer to host the files, bandwidth is not an issue

2) and I want to be able to issue 1 time download links

 

File size may vary but mostly documents.

 

Is this possible? If you give me a couple of words to google I will manage.

you can do that with ajaxexplorer plus a WHOLE lot more!! ;)
