TAZMINATOR
Looks like you will need to hard reset it. I have seen the people who reset it and the problem solved.
Yusuf M. Veteran Posted September 11, 2013 Veteran Share Posted September 11, 2013 Your best bet would be a factory reset: http://www.htc.com/us/support/howto.aspx?p_id=530&id=319291&p_name=windows-phone-8x-by-htc-t-mobile

You won't lose the apps since the apps are linked to your account.... once your phone gets reset, you can get them back ... if you don't see it, you can click on download button ... so you won't have to buy it again at all. You can back your data up to your computer or cloud service.

+Elі Subscriber² Posted September 11, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted September 11, 2013 That's an odd issue you seem to be having and not common, I would call your mobile operator, HTC or Microsoft support to see if they can help diagnosing the issue, (there could be something wrong with your cell network settings that makes it impossible to receive the update) or better yet go to the store and ask for a replacement unit just to be on the safe side, I have the same phone and I love it. Prototype1864
Hey Ely thanks for the reply. i doubt its my cell network settings as it should work when i enable wifi right? this morning i checked and it worked it said no update available, do i still go and take it back? I would take it in store but im in the uk and windows stores are in there infancy compared to apple, i got to admit though this phone is winning me over its just so smooth, bit gutted about many apps missing or not working like youtube

TAZMINATOR
You can take it to the local store and see if they could diagnose your phone and see if they find any problem ... if so, they could either repair or replace.
+KibosJ Subscriber² Posted September 12, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted September 12, 2013 Turns out the phone wasn't getting the time and date from the network and it kept changing to a different time and date which causes this issue. Probably not what it is in this case, just thought I'd ask :)
