nbc NBC buys 'Spec' an Alien Drama

This is a spec whose name would easy to remember ? Spec. NBC has bought the drama project, from writer Michael Alaimo (Major Crimes, The Closer) and producer Aaron Kaplan. Developed by Kaplan through his Kapital Entertainment, Spec, which is being laid off at Universal TV, centers on a mysterious alien life form recovered from a derelict spacecraft who escapes into the woods outside a small Oregon town. The show explores the characters of that town ? and one family in particular ? as they are forever changed by the discovery of this new visitor.
