Hoe-Bag
My computer now spontaneously reboots and gives the the following error. I have no idea what is going on but I will show what the event manager says and what the blue screen says to some degree: Event Manager: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000024 (0x001902f8, 0xf24b97c4, 0xf24b94c4, 0x804ec0fd). A dump was saved in: C:WINDOWSMinidumpMini012202-02.dmp. seems like a physical memory dump occuring spontaneously, not sure why that would happen....... Blue Screen: BAD_POOL_CALLER etc. etc. with a buncha weird numbres like the ones shown above in the event log. Anyways someone earlier sent me this website but I don't get it: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;Q265879 Config: Abit KG7 Mobo Athlon 1.4 ghz processor 512 Meg Crucial DDR Memory Winfast GeForce3 Ti200 64 meg DDR 40 gig Maxtor Diamondmaxplus WD 1000bb 100 gig 7200 rpm Linksys 10/100 Ethernet Adapter Toshiba DVD ROM Smart&Friendly SCSI Burner

JustinLerner
If you really want to find out what is really causing the problem, instead of guessing, the FAQ that you list is correct. Unfortunately, it's also highly technical. Any other method may just be guessing at what is causing problems. As an alternate method, you can disable and change startup of Services that are unneeded by you. For example, disble the Task Scheduler service (in Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Services) View the properties of Task Scheduler and change the startup option to disabled. But this is just one little performance guess without knowing what hardware and software is installed on your system.
