Cool Ethan
I have some major problems with my XBOX Live! service, I CAN'T CONNECT. I have even talked to Microsoft over the phone and they couldnt help me, so naturally the next place i come is here. Basically I have cable service, running through a router and for some reason I can't connect. I have had this setup since I was in the beta test for XBOX Live, but all of a sudden, it decided that it did not want to work for one reason of another. I was just wanting to get some suggestions on what to do. Thanx.

Try disconnecting both your router and your modem, wait a minute or so and connect your modem, then wait another minute and connect your router. Cool Ethan
Try disconnecting both your router and your modem, wait a minute or so and connect your modem, then wait another minute and connect your router. Done that already. And many different variations of it. And BTW the title is supposed to say that Microsoft could NOT help me. Sorry bout that. _XtaC_
can you ping your xbox from one of your pc's? maybe make sure you are on the proper subnet on your xbox...sounds like a nic issue....although it could be a faulty cable...try swapping your cable with a known working one. Cool Ethan
I know the cable works because I connect to GameSpy all the time to play Halo. So I know everything is set up correctly, but for some reason it wont work.
Cool Ethan
Nevermind guys, I fixed the problem. There was a firmware update for my router and that is why it wasnt working correctly. I updated the firmware and it fired right up. Thanks anyway
