V-Tech
Apple inspired Samsung a great deal on its way to the top, and now it looks like another smartphone vendor is drawing inspiration from the Cupertino-based iPhone maker. A series of recent leaks revealed that HTC?s upcoming phablet, the HTC One Max, will include an integrated fingerprint scanner, leading many to believe that nearly a year?s worth of iPhone 5s fingerprint scanner rumors likely served as HTC?s inspiration for the move. Another rumor that has been around for almost as long suggested that Apple would unveil a gold iPhone this year. And sure enough, Apple loves gold. Following the unveiling of Apple?s new gold iPhone 5s, a leaked image posted on Sina Weibo shows the housing from HTC?s flagship HTC One in, you guessed it, gold. The same Sina Weibo user previously leaked images of the blue HTC One that ended up being real, so we can likely expect to see HTC unveil a gold One in the coming months. http://bgr.com/2013/09/13/gold-htc-one-photos-leak/
+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted September 13, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted September 13, 2013 You know, one of the smartphone manufacturers ought to go all the way: give the OS a skin similar to the Pimpzilla Firefox skin with gold icons all over the place. Call it 'Pimpin' Edition'. It'd sell like hotcakes I'm sure.
