Briandl79
I haven't but there isn't much to say about them. They connect your console to your wireless network. I actually just ordered a similar device made by D-Link Thursday. I chose the D-Link product because it supports the proprietary 22mbps mode, and even though my internet connection only goes up to 3mbps I do have two modded consoles so I'm sure I can put that extra bandwidth to use. +Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted November 24, 2003 Subscriber² Share Posted November 24, 2003 Basically it's just a media convertor. The media in point being LAN of both wireless and wired variety. They do exactly as they say on the tin. I have set up a buffalo one, and was as simple as it could be.
Briandl79
I just got the DWL-810+ today and it works like a charm, I've been "testing" it with Project Gotham Racing 2.....
BroChaos Veteran Posted November 25, 2003 Veteran Share Posted November 25, 2003 i got a linksys wet54g, basically the same as the one you posted, but the G version. it sucked, IMO. but i'm blaming this on the fact that it was a brand new product. not to mention, linksys put out a firmware that killed them, if you tried updating. happened to me twice...
