Scorbing
Make sure when you install NAV that no other applications are opened dude otherwise all hell breaks lose. I have NAV 2002 on my XP Pro PC and no problems at all.
invisivel
The strangest thing its that i always installed the NAV2002 on WinXP but for a while i have been some problems installing it :(
PaulNC
Have had the same problem... Since the error reported that *Internet Explorer* had a script error, try the following. Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs Select Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 A dilogue box should appear asking you what you want to do. 1. Add a Component 2. Repair IE 3. Remove IE Select 2. Repair and obviously reboot. I had the problem one other time and the fix that worked was a Win reload. ( I was also getting the script errors when opening other windows) That's my take... Good luck! -Paulnc
invisivel
I can't find this option on WinXP :(

nexionly
Thats an IE issue, it is likley that something in the setup window is java, and thats error is telling you something is wrong with it. click no. I had that error and it works fine. except for the not being able to find update info or some dumb thing.
antally
Try this, it worked for me. Open IE go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Now check "disable script debugging" That seemed to do the trick for me, let us know. -adam (edited because i got a new keyboard :D)
BrianR
1. Don't click next. Click cancel. 2. If the desktop icon is present, change the properties so "cfgwiz.exe" is not opened when using the icon to open NAV 2002. 3. Edit this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun 4. Delete "cfgwiz.exe". 5. Close and reboot. I know it's a pain in the posterior, but it works. This is also faster than re-installing IE6. "The mighty Oak is just an acorn that held it's ground"

Kieran
I have NAV and no problems - but i heard that a warez version of NAV produces this problem... Maybe you should try buying it?
kaffra
its not an issue with warez or ori cds. i installed the ori one without a problem, but I uninstalled norton antivirus.i installed it again and now i have similar probs on the script error. havent found a solution for it either. trying out mcafee demo now

bartheq
Today I came up with an idea to check what do guys from Symantec think about these script errors. When I was reading this I realized that some time ago I disabled Task Scheduler service cause I didn't think I'd use it:) Right after I figured it out I lauched services.msc, enabled Task Scheduler, installed NAV2K2 again and it now there are no errors:D Hope that helps:)
