eppisode3
I just got a Super JoyBox 9 which lets you use a XBOX controller on the PC. I'm having a couple problems with it, though. First of all, the 2 games I've tried playing it with, NHL 2004 and NBA Live 2004, both experience drastic slowdowns while in-game. If I unplug the controller and use the keyboard, the game plays fine, no slowdowns at all. Secondly, the features for the JoyBox say you can use digital or analog controls, however, I cannot use the right thumb stick on the XBOX controller in the game. For example, on NBA Live 2004, there is no freestyle moves, period. I am at a total loss here as to what can be the problem. My system specs are: MSI KT4 Ultra Mobo Athlon 2100+ (2.08 @ 166FSB) 1GB 2700 DDR RAM GeForce 4 4200Ti 128MB 8x AGP OnBoard C-Media Sound Windows XP SP1a When using my old gamepad, both of the games run fine. Am I overlooking something here, or am I looking for something to work that just can't be done? Thanks for any help :)
eppisode3
Well, I've gotten both games to run without slowdown now using the XBOX controller, however, I'm still unable to get Freestyle control to work in either game. I can map controls to the right thumbstick (by pressing down on it) however, the analog controls don't work. Weird. Well, if someone can still help me out with using the analog controls I would appreciate it. Thanks.
matt74441
What drivers are you using?
eppisode3
I'm using the drivers that came with the converter. They're from Mayflash. On their website they have updated drivers, however this didn't help either. The way I got the controller to work without slowdown in the game, though, was to uninstall whatever it was that installed from the floppy disk that came with the controller. It seems whatever was installed was slowing it down  Very confusing, and I guess I should be glad the controller works period.
