I deem there is no Japanese member of NeoWin registered since the day NeoWin was born.

But looking forward to see first Japanese member occur here soon (maybe aaron901 can introduce a bit about NeoWin to some Japanese she meets -- too bad English language has been a great obstacle for too many Japanese.

For some reason, when I read this thread I kept thinking about the song called "I'm turning Japanese" by the vapors..... I'm turning Japanese, I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so...

I really envy you.

How do they treat foreigners over there? I've heard so many conflicting things about how Japanese treat foreigners, so I'd rather hear it from someone who's actually there.

I thought they treated Americans like normal people, as long as you're making an effort to speak their language.

Man I grew up in Japan but I haven't been back there in about 4 years (asside from a few too many stops in the Tokyo International Airport) I miss it...

Things you don't want to miss:

Mitsuya Cider (best fking softdrink in the world)

School Girls (GF complains that I'm obsessed :s)

Tokyo Fish Market (J/K)

ALL the food...eat all the Udon you can but don't hit the wasabi too hard :D

And at least sample the Habu Saki :D

Gotta agree with you. Japanese people are very polite, because their way of running traditional culture is really kept maintained. Japan is the land of technologies, but Japan won't scrap its traditional way ;)

Man I have to go to Japan some day later though I still got lots of things to do now :ninja:

Once again I envy you aaron! :D

That's a damn nice phone.

I really want to go to Japan. Awesome gadgets there.

But I'm Chinese, so I go back to China every summer. Though I can't go to Japan, I'll settle for Hong Kong and Shanghai. Fine with me. :)
