neojoker
On TTL chips, such as the 7476 (dual J-K flip-flops), how does the "preset" function work? Does that allow you to set a certain state that the J-K flip-flops will start in? I'm working on a state changing circuit, but I want to be able to control what state the flip-flops start in, so I need a little assistance. Thanks. caustiK
yes, that determines the initial value of the ff, either 'set' or 'reset'. edit: here's the datasheet for the ff: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn7476.pdf Edited November 23, 2003 by caustiK

neowin_hipster
Where did you get those? from an electronics store, I seriously have only seen those at school. Ever though of using Gal's? Those will probably reduce the amount of components.
