Koshur Share Posted September 27, 2013 Hi Folks. I am stuck at installing the Vmware workstation .bundle file. It throws error "permission denied". I've chmod'd the file but didnt work. Here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5733110/installing-vmware-player-3-1-4-385536-x86-64-bundle-bundle-vmware-player is the solution on the forum. Can somebody please explain what they are saying? I'd need the steps to proceed. 0 Koshur Author Solution Share Posted September 27, 2013 never mind. I just figured it out. I did sudo su to get to root and then sudo gedit /etc/fstab and removed the noexec from the file. saved the file and rebooted. it works now...! :)) 1 Share Link to post Share on other sites
