Maths Help (Upper Quartile - Lower)

Recommended Posts

is this for grouped or ungrouped data? for ungrouped:

Mean is the halfway, so if u have 11 numbers, its the 6th. then LQ is half of 6, so 3rd number in ther series,, and upper quartile is 3+6, so 9th nuber in the series

1 2 34 5 67 8 910 11 12

Blue = 1st quartile

Red = 2nd quartile

Purple = Third quartile

Green = 4th quartile

Upper would probably be the third and fourth while lower would be first and second.

Mean is actually average, median is the one in the middle and mode is the most frequently occuring one.Up
