Brian Miller
I don't know much about the Doctor Who universe but I am wondering, could the Doctor regenerate in to a female body? I think it could introduce an interesting dynamic in to the story.
Nick H. Supervisor Posted October 14, 2013 Supervisor Share Posted October 14, 2013 It's been discussed in the past, and according to this article it seems that it could be a possibility. I'm just not sure how comfortable I would be about it, the Doctor has always been a guy for me. Hurmoth 1 Share

The_Decryptor Veteran Posted October 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted October 14, 2013 It's been established as possible in the series, whether they'd do it is another matter.
thechronic
It is possible. For example in a Matt Smith episode, The Doctor refers to a timelord who regenerated and became female. Also River Song and the Doctors Daughter suggest that there is no 'compatibility issue' with female's.
DConnell Member Posted October 14, 2013 Member Share Posted October 14, 2013 That's been a rumor with every "changing of the guard" since Tom Baker left. It may be possible in fiction, but it'll never happen.
