XP Time/Date Removal With Cool Replacement...

Recommended Posts

I remember seeing a thread a few days ago involving a question regarding removing the Time & Date info in the XP Taskbar Systray. I can't believe I spent 5 minutes going over the reg when I realized that in your taskbar settings there is an option for turning it off. Simply right click on your toolbar and go to 'settings' then under 'notification area' remove the checkmark on 'Show the clock' then click apply and ok. Now if you still want to see the time I have a cool app that goes easy on the RAM/CPU and you can put it anywhere on your desktop. It has transparency options and skinning capabilities. If you want it, you can contact me via my Member Info...If I get too many requests I will put it on my server for d/l. But, until I get my 'tech-corner with a humor twist' up on my site (laughnonstop.com). I wont be featuring these neat tweaks and apps I find useful on the site itself. I need another staff member to join us and help run the 'tech-corner', for details: contact me. ;D

what's the name of the app that you're using for your clock? is this something you created and is it skinnable in addition to having transparency settings? can you give us a link to the website of the creator if it's not you?

btw, i appreaciate the humor in your signature but when it's twice as long as most posts it's really ridiculous. just my 2 cents. :o

K, three things...

1.)

2.) Yes, their site is located at http://software.garoo.net/ - App is entitled 'Ghrone Transluscent Clock' (I am not gonna see if the site is up, I am lazy, if it is not up contact me)

3.) If NeoWin did not wish to allow long sigs, they would put a cap on it. Also, keep in mind...mine is text, and alot of people use those big ass pics/banners which are a bit more annoying especially on bandwidth for those still on dialup. So (in a nice way) keep your complaints to yourself, no one cares.
