Jaz
can you use light guns with a PC monitor, e.g. hooking PC monitor to console and using the console light guns to shoot the baddies.
SOOPAH256
hmm, i was wondering about that too.. i know that the PS one (like for time crisis) uses the yellow video rca connector. so perhaps that might work if you have a composite input. i don't really have a clue to how it works, but in the duck hunt thread, jasonc1986 posted how the old NES ones worked. (here) just give it a shot. i'm pretty skeptical as to if it'd work, but meh... good luck. ;) tell us how it goes.

Chouzan
There are actually quite a few, perhaps the most popular would be Act Lab's PC USB Light Gun. It is very accurate and stylish, my only gripe is the lack of a reload pedal. Other alternatives include the Lik Sang PC Virtual Gun and the Lik Sang PC Super Bio Gun. These are both very similar to Namco's infamous GunCon and include a pedal. Edit: I forgot to mention, PSX/PS2 light-guns normally aren't compatible with a monitor set at any resolution other than the native resolution of the console itself, so you may encounter precision difficulties if you do chose to use such a light-gun. But of course I'm not speaking from experience, so anything's open at this point. Edited November 25, 2003 by Chouzan
morganpugh84
I used one about a year ago but it was awful (impossible to calibrate) unless you were at 640x480 60hz. I mean who the hell plays at that res lol Also they dont work with flatscreen systems (at least not to my knowledge).
