Eric Veteran Posted November 8, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 8, 2013 Not seeing this with the latest version. I just downloaded it and installed it. Are you using a custom theme or an old version of HWMonitor?
+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted November 8, 2013 Author Subscriber² Share Posted November 8, 2013 lol, the issue is not HWMonitor, it's all Windows. It's a custom theme, but I didn't have this issue with 8.0, only since 8.1.
Geoffrey B. Veteran Posted November 8, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 8, 2013 do you get this problem when you dont use a theme program and just view it with standard Windows?
Geoffrey B. Veteran Posted November 8, 2013 Veteran Share Posted November 8, 2013 Looks like other folks are having the same problem since 8.1 and its either the the themes themselves or the tool to allow the themes http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/169469-title-bar-text-and-background-in-windows-81/
+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted November 8, 2013 Author Subscriber² Share Posted November 8, 2013 That does not work. It just shows a color area, without text. Weird thing though now, is that explorer shows white text, no background, but everything else still has the issue.
+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted December 1, 2013 Author Subscriber² Share Posted December 1, 2013 How can I be the only person with this issue. It is custom themes though, if I switch to the default theme it goes away.
Eric Veteran Posted December 1, 2013 Veteran Share Posted December 1, 2013 I don't use custom themes as they tend to cause issues with upgrades and service packs but my only advice would be to not use it. Many of the files in 8.1 are different from 8.0 and it's likely the theme you're using or the uxtheme patch isn't compatible.
