OOPL
I'm looking for some good multiplayer games to install on my HTPC. These games should be playable with gamepads. I have Fifa and Madden but I like to branch out of just sports games. I know that one of the older Need For Speed games (2? 3?) had splitscreen with is cool. Are there any good recent racing games with split screen? Go ahead and list any good, sit-in-front-of-tv multiplayer games for the PC. and yes I do have consoles. Dross
Serious Sam: SE I guess you can't use a gamepad for it, but it does have split screen and it's hella fun. I'm pretty sure there's some kind of gizmo you can get for your hand that emulates keyboard buttons.

IGx89
One person uses the mouse and keyboard, and the other uses a second serial-port mouse and the same keyboard. It works OK, but the serial mouse tracking was kind of imprecise (could be because the serial mouse was 5+ years old). A friend also tried using his Thrustmaster Dual Analog 3 gamepad, and he said it worked really well as long as the sensitivity was just right. I'm with you; I'd LOVE more games with split-screen, etc..! I was so disappointed when I found out that Halo PC removed that feature; now I'll have to wait for cxbx 1.0 before I can play Halo split-screen on my computer :(.
