HD Screensavers

Recommended Posts

I have two 2560x1440 resolution monitors and I am wondering if there are any screensavers that support that resolution, or at least, one of those resolutions?

I have been using Electric Sheep for a long time but it just does not look that great on these.

Ideas,?

I like the motion picture screen saver personally, if I'm not using one of the default savers.

Basically you pick the pictures it displays and it has various nice transition effects. Especially nice if you already have a large collection of wallpapers. Of course you're not limited to just wallpapers, any pictures will actually do.

Yes, it's quite old but it works with Windows 7 so I assume it will also work with Windows 8.

I'd rather not use something that needs to access my photos, cause I don't keep photos on my system :)

Check out Dream Aquarium:

Best screensaver available IMHO.

I'll see if I can pm it to you when I'm on my pc, I'm currently replying from my phone. The one I have was ripped out of the google installer package, or so whoever's site I found it from claimed. Scanned with zonealarm and nothing came up. But please scan it with your favourite antivirus before you do anything with it. Even if just for peace of mind..

Or get back to me here if you no longer want it. :)
