2015 Audi A3 sedan US pricing announced

Starts at $29,900

 

Audi has announced the 2015 A3 Sedan will be priced from $29,900 in the United States.

While the model costs the same as the Mercedes CLA250, the A3 comes nicely equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof and bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The car will also have leather seats, Bluetooth connectivity and a standard six-speed S tronic transmission. Options include quattro all-wheel drive, a Bang & Olufsen audio system and an MMI infotainment system with 4G internet connectivity.

Detailed performance specifications were not released but Audi confirmed the model will be offered with a variety of engines including a 1.8-liter TFSI, a 2.0-liter TFSI and a 2.0-liter TDI. We can also expect the range-topping S3 sedan with a 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine that develops 300 HP (221 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque.

The A3 Sedan will eventually be joined by the A3 Cabriolet and the A3 Sportback e-tron.
