The US drama, based on the 2010 movie of the same name, has not been recommissioned for a third season

According to Deadline, the decision to end the show was mutual between network Lifetime and producer Sony Pictures TV.

Leading up to the cancellation, there had reportedly been creative conflict between Love Hewitt - who was an executive producer in addition to starring as Riley Parks - and Sony and Lifetime.

The 34-year-old actress had reportedly requested that real-life fianc? Brian Hallisay become the father of her character's baby for the third season.

The US ratings for the second season dipped from 2.7 million for the premiere, down to 2 million for the finale.
