Noir Angel Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 It's supposedly safe up to about 1.35 volts so you should be OK, but if you haven't already I would strongly advise a cooler upgrade as Intel's stock coolers are crap for overclocking. bigb69 Posted November 11, 2013 Author Share Posted November 11, 2013 i just got the hyper 212 evo. it runs really cool... this i7 930 was in a dell xps. volts was like1.5 im pretty sure.. but i just picked up a new MB evga sli le with a 212 evo and nzxt 820 case..600 watt corsair psu so i took the volts down.. oc 2.8 ghz to 3.5ghz but i was not sure on all the volts like vtt pll qpi ..etc volts?
