Humans do NOT come from Earth ? and sunburn, bad backs and pain during labour prove it, expert claims

  • A U.S. ecologist says conditions such as bad backs and sunburn suggest humans did not evolve alongside other life on Earth
  • In a new book, Dr Ellis Silver says aliens put humans our planet as recently as tens of thousands of years ago
  • He suggests the Earth might be a prison planet, since humans seem to be a naturally violent species and are here until we learn to behave ourselves
  • Bad backs suggest humans evolved in a world with lower gravity
  • Sunburn hints humans were not designed to be exposed constantly to the sun
  • The size of babies' heads present a problem for women when giving birth - difficulty not shared by other species on the planet
  • Humans are always ill, perhaps beacuse their body clocks have evolved to expect a 25 hour day - unlike Earth's
  • People just feel like they are not at home on our planet

Sounds interesting , we already develop war tech continuously , make wars and feel the need to expand. Perhaps aliens fear us , a force to be reckoned with over years. Let's forget those movies in wich we are invaded and think about the posibility of invading several planets over hundreds of years. In my opinion there are a few signs proving this : cut trees off, consume animals , exploit planet resources .

Okay , I had a nice laugh ! :woot: For those with a coffee infront of them and a bit of free time , take a sneak peek over the article, it made my day.

"Dr Ellis said the book is intended to create debate, instead of being a scientific study and hopes it will lead to people getting in touch with him with further suggestions of 'evidence".

"He suggests that Neanderthals such as homo erectus were crossbred with another species, perhaps from Alpha Centauri, which is the closest star system to our solar system, some 4.37 light years away from the sun."

Yeah i'll debate it, it's wrong but it will be a fun debate.

In other words, he's just made it up? Sounds right for a Daily Mail article.

'Bad backs' is evidence of nothing but abysmal posture that's only manifest in a modern age with people's lifespans extended by medical science. Oh, and bad science.

The fact that we share most of the same DNA with every other living thing on earth is just an amazing coincidence then I guess.

I'm sure he's not just making up crazy stuff to sell his book.

Thanks - I didn't read the source article, just the bit you posted.

Not worthy of debate IMO. He's just flung a wild theory out there.

I could say 'maybe gravity doesn't exist as we know it. It's actually other masses pushing us away rather than masses pulling us in! Discuss.' Lots of evidence to the contrary but let's ignore that :P

Perhaps we share some DNA with species from other planets too ! Well , I'm just having some fun here , don't tag me crazy lol ! :woot:  He also comes with some interesting theories too . :shiftyninja:

well if neanderthals were so awesome why did they die out haha. Nothing is really designed to be out in the sun all day, lions tigers, monkeys, most mammals either go for shade in trees or take a dip in water to cool off. The only animals that NEED to be in the sun for some length of time are cold blooded reptiles like snakes, crocodiles etc that need the sun to warm there blood so they become active. We lost our hair as monkeys when we started living in caves and building huts and stuff to shelter ourselves, not to mention black people are black cus of high skin pigmentation to protect them from the sun. Europeans are more white because with the weaker sun strength we didnt need that skin pigmentation anymore and probably became a hinderance... like less ability to absorb heat from the sun cus of higher defense against it.

As far as the ill part alot of us are ill not because we didnt come from the planet but stress, malnutrition (from not eating well) always working on the go, never taking a rest when needed, sleepless nights etc lower the immune response so are more susceptable not to mention evolving bacteria that our immune systems not to learn to tackle/creating new vaccines.

Just a book to sell he doesnt care about debate cus its all aload of crap, just wants $$$

There is one sort of point there.. I wonder why we haven't evolved to not get burnt skin.. but then again it's hardly life threatening?

The ecologist is a moron.

Did we all come from plant blah blah and get dropped with parachutes helping us land from a flying saucer?

The idea that human are not native to earth is not new, its even used in manga like Guyver.

I personally believes that human are actually stem from earth's native organism that was genetically modified by aliens when they visited young earth that full-of-life..,

I just cant bring myself to believes that humans are 100% natural evolution without alien interferences.

Did you read this in a manga, as well? Does one 'read' a manga?

Well, people do read manga since manga is what we would call "comic books."  You could choose to not read the words (or not be able to read the words) and try to just follow along with just the pictures, but you probably wouldn't get it.

Anyway, he probably didn't get his silly ideas from manga, more likely just the internet.

Well we have certainly evolved more rapidly than any other species on Earth, however I don't personally believe we were put here by aliens.

-Bad backs suggest humans evolved in a world with lower gravity
Other animals on Earth also get bad backs, dogs for instance can get such bad backs that it completely cripples them...

-Sunburn hints humans were not designed to be exposed constantly to the sun
Other animals also get sun burns, and humans and other animals have evolved mechanisms to combat it.  Ever heard of "melanin"?

-The size of babies' heads present a problem for women when giving birth - difficulty not shared by other species on the planet
And if we lived on another planet then this would be different?

-Humans are always ill, perhaps beacuse their body clocks have evolved to expect a 25 hour day - unlike Earth's
I haven't been really sick in 17 years, so define "always", please?  My dog and cats have been sick several times, and their lives so far are less than a third of that time span.  Also the 25 hour thing isn't actually proven.

-People just feel like they are not at home on our planet
Except for all the other people that like to say that Earth is a Goldilocks planet for our form of life?  Or that it must have been created on purpose since it's so "perfect."

And this:
"He suggests the Earth might be a prison planet, since humans seem to be a naturally violent species and are here until we learn to behave ourselves."  And  "He suggests that Neanderthals such as homo erectus were crossbred with another species, perhaps from Alpha Centauri, which is the closest star system to our solar system, some 4.37 light years away from the sun."

So, the aliens crossbred Earth hominids with either themselves or some other alien species to create new form of life that they could then turn around to imprison on the Earth?  This is stupid on so many levels.  Now it may have just been the article writer's wording, but Neanderthals are not the same thing as Homo Erectus.
And Alpha Centauri, being a binary star system, probably doesn't have any planets.

Here’s what Earth might look like to aliens

"When Earthly astronomers train their telescopes on exoplanets beyond our solar system, they’re lucky to see even a single dot of light. How can they figure out whether it might have suitable conditions for life? To find out how they might know more, a team of scientists turned the problem on its head: They took images of a habitable planet—Earth—and transformed them into something alien astronomers light-years away would see.

The team started with about 10,000 images of our planet taken by NASA’s Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite, which sits at a gravitational balance point between Earth and the sun, allowing it to see only the daytime side of the planet. The images were taken at 10 specific wavelengths every 1 to 2 hours during 2016 and 2017.

To simulate an alien point of view, the researchers reduced the images into a single brightness reading for each wavelength—10 “dots” that, when plotted over time, produce 10 light curves that represent what a distant observer might see if they steadily watched exoplanet Earth over 2 years."

Researchers believe aliens could send malware and destroy humanity
      by Christopher White

There's no doubt that we have a lot of computer security issues on our planet right now. Ransomware seems to be a daily issue, with new variants constantly being released; hardware issues in CPUs give bad guys the ability to steal your data; and lax security in the "Internet of Things" (IoT) enables bad guys to run denial of service attacks against the biggest companies in the world. However these may be simple annoyances compared to what extraterrestrials could do to our planet's IT infrastructure.

In a paper written by Michael Hippke and John G. Learned, the researchers explain various ways an alien civilization could destroy the world, either intentionally or unintentionally, by embedding code in a message. They speculate that even simple markup languages like TeX and LaTeX could be used maliciously, and highlight the difficulty in decoding the languages manually. In addition, the paper details that an alien AI could begin a negotiation with humanity, in essence social engineering an attack.

One recommended solution is to build a "prison" on the moon, a computer that is used to decode alien messages, but is isolated from other networks and which could be remotely destroyed if necessary. However they go on to say that, "[c]urrent research indicates that even well designed boxes are useless, and a sufficiently intelligent AI will be able to persuade or trick its human keepers into releasing it." While there are no silver bullets to this problem, and the researchers note that the overall risk to humanity is low, it's a topic that can be fun to think about.

This topic is hardly new as there have been many books and movies that explore the concept of malicious invaders. For example, in the movie Species, the SETI project received a transmission with details on how to splice alien DNA with human DNA and the result was mayhem. What other interesting books, movies, and TV shows have you seen that address this topic?
