mmaacckkoo
Hey I was wondering if anyone knew how (or wants to find out a way) to get a folder to appear in the "Toolbars" menu. I'm talking about the menu when you right click on the taskbar, and go to toolbars  This would make things a lot faster for people with menus not docked to the taskbar that disappear or accidently get clicked out of. Thanks!
freeza
there probably is a way in the registry but i know the fodlers stay in the toolbar menu for as long as you're using them but once they're closed they're gone
JodyWatts
Maybe I don't quite understand the question, but ... You can just right click on the task bar and choose toolbars then New Toolbar. At that point you can choose ANY folder and it would appear as a toolbar (with "buttons" and subfolders) on the task bar. It will remain there until you choose to close that toolbar. Am I close to what you wanted?
BroChaos Veteran Posted January 23, 2002 Veteran Share Posted January 23, 2002 i think he wants to eliminate the step of browsing to the folder. it's annoying to have to do that everytime, i think he want's it so it's stored in the registry, and the name will be listed in the menu along with "audio player", "quick launch" etc.... i'm gonna look around the registry... ciao! joe

Once you set it, it stays set (at least on my machine :))
