Atomic Wanderer Chicken
A loud and rude heckler began yelling about deporting families today at President Obama. IsItPluggedIn
Lol gold. I like the fact that he didnt let them kick him out. This is the problem with most people who complain about politics is that they don't know how it works, or don't care. nocturnalis and thomastmc 2 Share

Nashy
He's a fantastic speaker. I don't know what sort of a president he is, but ###### he speaks well. Seems really normal and down to Earth. nocturnalis 1 Share

+Raze Subscriber² Posted November 26, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted November 26, 2013 (Y) The President showed by letting the young man stay he was not afraid to acknowledge this issue. He displayed leadership and a calm, cool character. I worry that he doesn't do this enough in regards to special interests and within his own circle, which has caused him to appear weak and ineffectual, particularly on the PPACA and foreign affairs involving Israel and Iran and a host other issues. I respect him, but he needs to get it in gear and take charge and develop consensus. I wonder if that's even possible considering the political climate in America today. theyarecomingforyou and szo 2 Share

KingCracker
I think hell just froze over! ;) Well when he says that he wants to go about changing things the right way, by going through due process then I have to give him a thumbs up for that. I still think he's the worst president in history though lol. Nogib, +Raze, John S. and 2 others 5 Share
DocM
Hmmmm..... Those persons placed behind a president at such events are carefully chosen, and almost always supporters. Obama obviously supports amnesty. These hecklers (there were more than one if you see a wider shot) do as well. This policy has not been moving through Congress in spite of both leaderships generally supporting it. How to make a newsworthy PR statement to strengthen the presidents policy hand? A False Flag stunt which puts the president in a favorable light and allows him to bloviate about it unfiltered on the national news. Mission accomplished. It's been done before by several presidents before, especially this one. John S., bguy_1986, djdanster and 3 others 6 Share

Steven P. Administrators Posted November 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2013 Good response by Obama and I have to say I'm really happy on the route they are taking with Iran as well. Israel has dictated for far too long what can fly/happen in the Middle East without much success, except when the West gets involved with proper diplomacy. Sorry to go off topic, but it sort of applies I guess :P thomastmc, theyarecomingforyou, Stoffel and 2 others 5 Share

I generally agree with you on science threads, and respect your knowledge on it greatly, but when it comes to political issues and your attitude towards Obama... chrisj1968
This is about the fact that Obama is getting hit on EVERY side with scandal after scandal. I believe the woman who supposedly passout behind obama was simply a staged event. Obama is sinking and fast even among democrats. As my mom once taught me growing up: "oh what a tangled web we weave... when we practise to deceive." Everything is collapsing around Obama. guess he needs some sort of positive in his day. he was supposed to be pro- illegal immigrant and now this shows he's not popular with them even. +Mirumir 1 Share
