President Obama makes fool out of heckler

Recommended Posts

It's easy for people to say that Obama is the worst president ever, and that he has all of these "scandals", but when you press them on the specifics it always breaks down to a clear ignorance of history and lack of any facts to back up their accusations.

It turns out that Obama is the worst president ever because he passed a conservative health care reform, or because he was really born in Kenya. He's scandalous because some terrorist group killed an ambassador and the military reinforcements that were ordered in that night didn't make it in time, or because he's really a Muslim.

It's nothing but conspiracy theories. The only thing that changes is the level of absurdity.

What, worse than Nixon?!

Nixon was actually a decent President. He just had the misfortune of having terrible friends and to get caught covering up for them. However, he was a major political force for many years.

It amazes me the heckler didn't get yanked out by Secret Service and Obama stood their allowing him to continue yelling! Obama looked very tired in the video.

Wait so the fast and furious debacle never happened under Obama's watch? What I think is absurd is people like you giving Obama a pass on everything. Nothing is his fault. However I know for a fact that you and others like you would be calling for the head of a Republican president if the "conspiracy theories" happened under their watch.

Interesting....

An undocumented immigrant from South Korea, Ju Hong, 24, was an approved guest of the White House during the rally on Monday, and began yelling for Obama to halt all deportations, but the president said he didn?t have the power.

well it does seem that they pick these photo-op puppets to stand behind the president for a reason...it could have been scripted 'Period'

Fast and Furious is a blight on the administration of Obama. I wouldn't say that it never happened, or that it was just nothing of consequence. I would say that I don't understand the vitriol associated with this scandal.

What exactly bothers you so much about Fast and Furious?

The ATF actually started gun walking under Bush and Gonzales/Mukasey.

Obama has used Executive Privilege only that one time during his entire presidency, to protect Holder. Bush used it 6 times, often during investigations. And, every president since Kennedy has used Executive Privilege. Obama's use of Executive Privilege wasn't in any way unprecedented.

Do you know why the ATF hadn't had a Director in 7 years until this last summer? Maybe an actual Director at the ATF could have prevented such idiotic operations to begin with :)

Obama started it up again. What bothers me? Are you serious? The government allowed guns to get into the hands of drug cartel members and a border patrol agent was killed as a result. Did that happen under Bush?? No it didn't. Typical to blame Bush though because we all know Obama is our savior and everything he does is right.

It didn't happen under Bush out of sheer luck. What if it had happened under Bush?

If you weren't trying to prove a point so hard, you'd have noticed that I did say that Fast and Furious was a blight on Obama's administration. Fast and Furious was wrong.

I'm not blaming Bush. Bush didn't know that the ATF had started gun walking any more than Obama did. It would be foolish to blame him for it :D

B.S. Eric Holder meets with Obama all the time, i'm sure he left out the whole operation, because the President doesn't need to know those kinds of things, you know the kinds that might give guns to drug cartels. Nah he doesn't need to know that.

So, not having an actual Director in charge at the ATF probably had nothing to do with the horrible management of the Arizona field office?

So, do you think Bush knew too, and Gonzales, and Mukasey?

Bush knew what? Has it came out that guns were let free into Mexico with no way of getting them back under Bush? Stop deflecting the blame off Obama.

I'm just wondering if you hold everyone involved in the mess equally responsible.

It's a simple question, not a deflection. Do you think that Bush also knew that the ATF in Arizona were using gun walking?

Actually, yes that has come out... How well informed are you of this "horrible" scandal that you're so bothered by?

Operation Wide Receiver (2006-2007)

With the use of surveillance equipment, ATF agents monitored additional sales by Detty to straw purchasers. With assurance from ATF "that Mexican officials would be conducting surveillance or interdictions when guns got to the other side of the border",[12] Detty would sell a total of about 450 guns during the operation.[30] These included AR-15s, semi-automatic AK-pattern rifles, and Colt .38s. The majority of the guns were eventually lost as they moved into Mexico.

Sure but you don't.

I don't blame Bush or Obama for gun walking by the ATF, or even the Republicans directly. I blame the agents in Arizona and whoever was overseeing them (since there was mysteriously no Director at the ATF for 7 years).

So, because guns got into the hands of cartels in Mexico under Obama he is the worst president ever. Bring up the fact that it happened under Bush too, and it's time for extreme cognitive dissonance.

Thank you for proving my earlier point :)

Obama is still the worst president ever, He has done nothing. And what he has done failed, even the republican compromised obamacare is a failure.

How are you going to spin that in Obama's favor?

Good public speaking skills is all Obama has up his sleeves.

It would have been a paradox if he were a bad public speaker at this point of his career because talking to public is all he has ever done.

Obamacare? I thought we were talking about Fast and Furious. Now who's deflecting...

I'll just allow your continued statements to keep proving my earlier point. That's how  :)

Just a quick point, the reason Obama has done nothing is because anything they try to put through gets rejected by the republicans.

Obamacare is always going to be a failure if it was not fully implemented, so because it was compromised by the republicans it failed.

You cant make a good country when one party blocks the other because they dislike them not because they policy is bad. Government need to work together. Instead of the crap that is going on.

I have no favor over either side of government, I just hate how the American government it screwing the country, both sides and just blame it on the other side. The biggest problem is they dont have a clear goal to work to at the moment, making the country better is not clear enough for them. Everybody is afraid of looking bad or hurting a subset of people, they need to make the hard choices and defend them.

I totally agree, except that Obamacare hasn't failed, yet.

These are the milestones in getting the ACA started:

?October 1, 2013: Marketplace open enrollment started

?January 1, 2014: Health coverage can start

?March 31, 2014: Open enrollment ends

Round 1 certainly was a failure. Hopefully rounds 2 and 3 go much better :shifty:
