HPMCommander
Hasve you noticed that if you sleep during the day for a long time, then your mouth feels rather unfresh? yep... strange, isn't it? gotta just brush teeth after naps ^_^
briangw
Caffeine doesn't always work. I used to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week on a 6 month cruise in the Navy. Drank about 4-6 Mountain Dew's/day, almost everyday. After awhile, No-Doz wouldn't work for me.
djgramma
Coca-Cola, Diet Vanilla Coke, Red Bull, Bawls, Dr Pepper, Ginger Ale, Cherry Coke, Cream Soda. Hmmm.... action games, sports games, arcade games.... racers are the best, esp futuristic racers.... loud music, bangin techno music, bad boy bill, underworld's harder stuff, aphex twin, the strokes, the vines, the white stripes, paul oakenfold mixes.... hehe don't like anything harder than the caffeine drug. bawls is the closest thing to speed so I'm satisfied with that high there. :ninja: Cheers

poind
Caffeine doesn't always work. I used to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week on a 6 month cruise in the Navy. Drank about 4-6 Mountain Dew's/day, almost everyday. After awhile, No-Doz wouldn't work for me. Caffeine can often work a bit as an isolated thing, but people who start using it heavily daily actually get in a catch-22 -- when they actually sleep, it's not as worthwhile due to the caffeine still in the system, so they end up taking even more the next day to stay awake again, then don't get proper sleep again because of it, and on and on.... There's nothing that beats solid sleep that hasn't been influenced by caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, or even too much sugar. (Think caffeine tends to stay in the system for at *least* 10 hours after consumption, even after one stops feeling the effects consciously?) Simple exercise is the big, often ignored thing, that can really improve the quality of one's sleep / wake.

Chicane-UK Veteran Posted November 30, 2003 Veteran Share Posted November 30, 2003 I'm curious to know.. why the hell would you make yourself only sleep once every 3-4 days? You know the body gets tired for a reason.. burning the body out by depriving it of sleep and feeding yourself chemicals to stay away is a sure fire way to get to an early grave or mental problems.
