ArcticRift
I have been trying to grow as a street photographer, and wondering if anyone can add some hints and tips they found whole shooting out and about. ...? sanctified Veteran Posted December 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted December 14, 2013 1.- Use a small and discrete camera. I use the fuji x100s. 2.- Decide what kind of street photography you want/need. Cartier Breson's decisive moment like? New Topography like? Phillip Lorca DiCorcia like? Or just candid? Choose your venom and master it. 3.- Be patient, for every 1000 pictures you'll get a truly good one. You will get better with time. There will be a moment where you'll have mastered street photography that taking effective pictures will happen automatically. 4.- Be polite. If you know people will notice you taking pics then ask for permission. But if you want to be invisible then I insist on the first point. You need to learn how to act too. Acting nonchalant. If you want to take a pic of someone who might notice you then frame the scene first in your head, pretend your doing something else or taking a picture of something else, then, at the first chance, take the pic. LEARN TO BE FAST, master your tool.

c.grz
You're pictures have potential; just need to work on composition and depth of field. ArcticRift 1 Share
ArcticRift
What about depth of field? More? Less?
