IE Copy/Paste and Freezing

I haven't seen much here on Neowin but I can't be the only one who can't copy/paste in IE 11 under any circumstance no matter what or where I'm browsing.

 

You can copy out of the browser but you cannot paste into it. This is only after upgrading to 8.1. Additionally there are numerous random tab freezes. It's so bad I have Chrome Portable (never say never). Is IE 11 getting a free pass? Anyone else having a similar experience after upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1?
