Agent Smit Share Posted December 1, 2003 Here's mine... done with a Sony DSC-S85. You can click on each thumb-nail to bring up a bigger shot. http://members.shaw.ca/agent.smit/ Hope you like em! :)
+chorpeac MVC Share Posted December 1, 2003 no...i think if we have similar canons then the photostitch would be the same. i just stood in one place. the lcd splits to show the previous shot and then you can decide how to do the next shot. you have to overlap your shots so that it'll put the pix together correctly. the pic i posted was made from i think 8 or 10 individual shots because i did a lot overlapping. Did you use a tripod?

+chorpeac MVC Share Posted December 1, 2003 OK I am not a experienced photographer. I would like to know what type of settings are best for night shots and shots that have something moving, like that water drip. Can anyone help?

UnaBonger Share Posted December 2, 2003 Any recommendations on batteries for my Kodak CX6230? The camera is capable of using the NI-HM type or ordinary lithium. I'm finding that the regular AA's arent lasting me very long at all. Do the NI-HM type last longer?

Wow, you didn't have a tripod when you took the panoramic? That's an excellent job then. Steady hands! I would definitely get one. I have a small one for the macro photos. I want a bigger one with the telescopic legs for outside shots. It's just useful if you need to keep your camera steady during a shot. It should improve the sharpness. And a panoramic should be easy since you just swivel the camera, and it stays at the same height when it is on the tripod. The tripods have levels on them so you have the camera level too. They aren't expensive and they are compact if you get a telescopic one.
