hey, to rain on everybody's parade, but the last article from ign like 2 days before thanksgiving says that the game is RUMORED to be pushed back into 2004. ignxbox says they've spoken to senior sources in tecmo who confirm this.

if true, it makes sense, think about it now, nobody has seen the game yet and supposedly it's going to be released in about 2 weeks time, yeah right  . usually in my book, when they keep a tight lid on the game like that it means it's going to be crap and that's what scares me. the article says that tecmo would be making an official announcement soon, so we'll see.

only for xbox? how the hell?? oh wait, it's tecmo ain't it? gah, looks like microsoft slipped big piles of cash under the table ;)

Team Ninja (tecmo is the publisher iirc) always develop for the most powerful system out, that's all. Microsoft did not pay them off.

When the PS2 was released they developed for that, and then when the xbox was released they moved onto developing for that.

If the PS3 was the most powerful system, the next nintendo system, or the next xbox, you can be guaranteed Team Ninja will be developing for whichever is the most powerful.
