IE11 Metro crash trying to log into Google

Recommended Posts

Hi to all

I have a problem trying to log in with my account in all the Google services and viewing some very specific sites with IE11 Metro. Every time I try to visit those sites the browser keeps refreshing the page and shows a page restoration error. The Windows reliability Monitor shows am error in the MSHTML.dll module.

Any ideas? I'm Using Windows 8.1 32Bit. The desktop version of IE11 Works fine, no errors at all. I tried everything: clear cache, clear history, reset IE11 to defaults, scanned for viruses, run a sfc /scannow in command prompt, and nothing. Everything was working fine until today, all sites were working in IE11 metro and desktop. I didn't installed any piece of software recently, and my Windows 8.1 is a clean install (installed on Dec. 24). I am able to load those sites in Metro If i add them in the compatibility view but: Why suddenly stopped working? This is my third clean install and always ends up with IE11 Metro messed up.

Thanks in advance...
