Copying Games

Recommended Posts

Apparently you can use those mini-CDs to pirate games on a Gamecube. I saw tutorial a few days ago, I'll see if I can find it. But can't you just carefully cut a DVD down in size, how hard could it be?

Yes, but one problem. They burn from the outside in unlike most Cd burn for the inside to the outside of the CD. You would need a special burner to do it. So it is not possible right now.

Didn't dreamcast discs do the same thing? Didn't discjuggler fix this...? I could be totally way off, never owned a dreamcast.

yeah i did, still best solution.

Um...if you had you'd know that the kid already HAS the system, and the games...also, after everyone jumped on him for the whole assumed 'warez' issue, he switched his request to the best way to bring the systems back and forth. Now how did your post answer his question?

And in order to copy the game and get it to work, he has to break the DMCA.

I have over 1200 audio CDs, 50 games, and 800 DVDs. None of them have scratches on them. Simple care should be enough.

Mike

1200 audios x $15 = 18000

50 games x $50 = 2500

800 dvds x $20 = 16000

--------------------------------

serious waste of 36,500 bucks but whatever floats ur boat dood.. hehe the music and games.. maybe.. but i cant even think of 800 dvd movies

worth purchasing.. lol

anyways...

i say its my box, my games, and im gonna do what i want to with the stuff. (personal use of course)

i dont steal, download, rip, or copy crap..... but if i want to protect my investment and can source a way to do it....

then so be it. and i dont care how well you claim to take care of a cd.. or dvd.. those damn things will get

scratched. i bought midnite club II for my son (ps2) he played the thing THREE times and the disc ended up with a scratch

about 1/16 inch wide right in the center on the data side of the disc. (perfect circle) it happened while the PS2 was spinning the

game disc. how i dont know.. because its never done that to any of my other games. in the end.. i hate to eat that one

and buy a new one for him. hence now.. i backup EVERYTHING i can.

I dont see the point of copying the games to xbox, is it not hard to carry a 24 disc carrying case, put them all in there and viola , your problems solved

Yeah, why don't you just store your console games like CDs? That would easily solve your problem. A CD case big enough for 24 or so games isn't really much bigger than a typical novel. Hell, the newest Harry Potter book is larger than my carrying cases, and that's a children's book...
