asy1mpo
i am sure a v easy question but cant figure out how IE6 has my favourites so that some are hidden - like in the win2k/WinXP start menu How do you disable this thanks
Zombie9920
In Windows XP if you are using the new Start Menu right click on the start button and go to properties, then click the "Customize" button next to the word "Start Menu", then click on the Advanced tab in the new Window, then check "Favorites Menu" and hit ok. If you are using the classic start menu, right click on the start button and go to properties, then click on the "Customize" button next to the word "Classic Start Menu", then check "Display Favorites" and click ok. That is the answer you are looking for right? If not..then sorry I mis-understood the question.
asy1mpo
i am using 2k here at work i have IE6 how do you do this on IE6
Zombie9920
You probably would do the same thing in Win2K(right click on your start button and go to properties). If not all you have to do is find a way into the Taskbar settings(You are wanting your Favorites to be displayed in the start menu right?). StimpyX
In Internet Explorer: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced; uncheck "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu".
Zombie9920
Doh, I need to get some sleep. Personalized Menus = hidden files until arrow is clicked. Duh, LoL.
StimpyX
Hey, at least you get the connection! Some would rather that setting said "Enable Pointy Arrow Expanding Favorites Menu Thingie". It's a bit long though. :D
