Umm, there is NO WAY TO FIT dvds on a cd! You can make VCDS but you loose qualtiy and it will take a while to encode it

erm .. you did realise this is the PC Gamer forum? :)

oMikR0n Basically there is no way of doing it, as you would still need the DVD in the drive to play the game. Why not just buy a DVD reader for the PC in question? Theyre cheap enough now.

This game was released in stores as a DVD. The game was ripped down to a CD by taking out only the foreign language commentary tracks! :)

thnx 4 hemp me so much!

I have the original game and i must download it from the net!!! Rofllll

quite simply, you shouldnt download it...or indeed copy it to another PC.. If you read the EULA then it should tell you that only one copy can be used at once.. If you want to play it on another PC, you need to buy it again, otherwise you are breaking the law..

The legal thing to do would be to phone their tech support and see if they can arrange for a CD version to be sent to you, they may say no, but it's worth a try.

Also, if anyone had the instructions to rip it to a cd, it wouldnt be an easy conversion, as certain scripts would need to be edited to make it work properly.

no worries man, thats always the problem when games get released on dvd, people will complain that they havent got dvd drives, and when games are released on 4 cds, people complain that the games should now be on dvd!!

If you search the net, you'll probably find a 'ripping' guide, bear in mind though that it's going to be illegal, involving the download of cracks and/or patches, which could contain viruses/trojans and such.

I'm not condoning the use of warez/pirated games, but mearly pointing out the fact that there are such releases on the net.
