CtotheJ
Here's the deal. About a year ago, I picked up some crappy Bose headphones from Magnolia Hi-Fi. I thought they were good at the time... untill the stupid low-quality peices of crap broke. I took them back about 8 months after this happened and they replaced them. All was well. Untill about 5 months later, the new ones brake the same way. I NOW HATE BOSE!! Well I took the headphones back again, and the guy there was SO nice, he allowed me to exchange them for a pair of Sennheiser HD 280's! They retail $199 but since they had them on sale for half off, they allowed me to do a straight accross trade with the Bose's! BTallack
I've paid a lot more than 100 bucks for Headphones. It's simply the cheapest way to get Audiophile sound.
CtotheJ
Not bad; Magnolia Hi-Fi ++, how long was the warranty with the company? I would go as far as to say += 2. I'm now a hard-core Magnolia Hi-Fi customer. The manufac. warenty was for a year (which was from the time I got the second pair) and the warenty w/ Magnolia Hi-Fi was only six months (from orig. purchace date. I was in for over a year on these). The new ones come with a two year warenty w/ Sennheiser, but my Magnolia Hi-Fi warenty is dead and gone several times over. CtotheJ
you paid $100 for headphones?? :o I work at a radio station. It's either get your own headphones or put up with the station crap that works in one ear at best. I'm there enough that it makes sense for me to have my own. And when I'm doing production work, you NEED to hear everything. These headphones are on the cheap end of what Magnolia Hi-Fi offers. The best (Sennheiser. Tried those on too... damn they're nice!) are about $300. /me burns some money on the fire See above. I need these. I'm very cheep relativelly. This is one of my few splurges, on something I'm going to use constantly.

kryptonik
Isn't Bose supposed to be good? ;)
Marc A.
Damn, Bose speakers are good... Please correct yourself. Bose speakers sound good to the masses, the speakers themselves suck. Have you opened any of them up at all and looked at the materials and build quality? Bose is popular because they sound "good enough", are small and they have commericals to spread their name. lieb39
Never had Bose, so no comment. For headphones, stay away from Sony Dynamic Stero Headphones, MDR-V300, they might be good sound and comfortable to a certain extent, they break very easily. Mine are broken but oh well, I tried to fix the cheap plastic but it wouldn't stay. Still use just not comfortable anymore. But as far as headphones go, you get what you pay for, except with these hehe. I paid $100 for these. -lieb39
